Taking delivery of your car is exciting, but following a thorough checklist helps secure your purchase. Use the list below:
1. Verify Official Documents
- Registration and title
- Valid insurance policy
- VIN report and service records
2. Physical and Mechanical Inspection
- Check paint and body for scratches
- Open the hood to inspect the engine
- Test brakes and steering
3. Short Test Drive
Drive for at least 10 minutes on varied roads to assess transmission, suspension, and engine performance.
4. Activate Insurance & Tax
Ensure third-party and comprehensive insurance are activated and VAT is settled.
5. Receive Keys & Accessories
Confirm receipt of all keys, owner’s manual, and spare tools.
